About us
Nesfield International College (NICOL), located at Ward Number 06, Lalitpur Metropolitan City, is a private college run by renowned academicians, academic entrepreneurs, social workers and professionals who have rendered commendable contribution to the university education in Nepal. Established in 2007 AD, under the aegis of Nesfield Education Foundation, the college’s success postulates the joint effort of professors and academicians. Here at Nesfield, students from different niches of the country explore out globalization through quality education. Affiliated to Tribhuvan University, NICOL runs BA, BBS, BHM, BCA, BBM and MBS programs. The college aims at producing qualified, sincere and dedicated human resources, who not merely make a dubious imitation of the subject matter but make rational and responsible decision in order to acclimate to the diverse social atmosphere.

How We Started
Nesfield International College was established in 2007 AD, by a team of dedicated academicians and community leaders with the vision of providing affordable and quality educational service to the local community and students around the Kathmandu valley in a rental building at Prayagpokhari, Lalitpur. The +2 building of Moonlight Higher Secondary School (MOLIHHS), now Moonlight Secondary School (MOLISS) and the rental building of Nesfield International College stood side by side. It started with two university programs viz. BBS and BA. Later, the college shifted to Batukbhairab, Lalitpur, with few areas of its own and the remaining in lease. In 2010/10/01, the college introduced BHM with an objective of providing with quality education related to hospitality industry. As the incessant effort, NICOL introduced MBS program in 2014/01/06, BBM in 2018/09/20 and BCA in 2018/09/09 Since then, the college has been continually striving towards diversifying its programs – adding new programs.
In order to create conducive and motivating environment related to research and leadership skills, especially to postgraduate students, the college has been publishing numerous research papers of faculties and guests researchers on the research journal ‘The Batuk’ since 2015.
